But please BEWARE. I have seen a great deal of DJ's and/or DJ companies over the years come and go. And so many important special occasions have been ruined by these here today, gone tomorrow companies. I receive numerous phone calls every year from people who are switching over to use our services now, due to them being very unhappy with other DJ's they regretfully contacted or had used before. Why do people still book with these companies? Well, I feel that the main reason is because some people may not understand what the difference a true experienced professional Disc Jockey can make at an event, compared to just hiring a person to stand there and play music. I would like to inform you of what the average client does not know about hiring other mobile disc jockey companies. (1) Did you know that a DJ or DJ company must have a valid business license. Over half of the current listings of DJ's that are booking events today are not licensed! Which gives the customer little or no recourse for their poor performances. (2) Not every DJ uses professional equipment. They will show up at your event with inexpensive home stereo's that look shabby and can really sound bad. (3) DJ's may only carry a limited amount of music. Maybe bring a few CD's from home, using their I-pods, laptop computers, jump drives that can electronically crash or fail to work at your event. (4) Having poor microphone skills. Not being able to express themself or communicate well with a crowd of people. (5) Lack of experience. Which results in failed judgement by many DJ's to properly keep the event moving smoothly. (6) And finally, a cheaper priced DJ will usually mean a cheaper less than average performance. Most newly formed DJ companies or DJ's fall short in talent and experience. So they charge a lower rate than the professionals, trick the customer into thinking they are getting a better deal and book someone's wedding reception or party to experiment with. THIS IS A DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN! A wedding reception for example should be a lifetime of cherished memories. Choosing the wrong DJ, is a lifetime of bad memories. Especially when you have taken the time out to choose the right location, the perfect caterer, the best photographer, etc. The DJ makes or breaks the celebration at any event. Most guests will probably not remember what the decorations looked like inside the banquet hall, or remember what all the people were wearing, or even how the food tasted. But they will never forget if the DJ ruined the whole event. I take any performance at an event very seriously. And I feel that is why we are #1 for booking events in the Carolinas.
